I had the privilege of working with Lenders Mag to cover one of the most iconic football matches in France: the classic between Marseille and PSG. My role was not only to capture the intensity of the game, but also to document the unique atmosphere of the Stade Vélodrome, where the passion of the fans truly comes alive.

From a photographic perspective, I focused on capturing both the key moments of the match and the surrounding details: the emotions of the players, the energy of the crowd, and the vibrant essence of the city of Marseille. Additionally, I had the chance to photograph the rising stars of Marseille’s football scene, showcasing the connection between the present and future of the sport.

The result was a series of images that not only tell the story of the match, but also reflect the heartbeat of a city and its unconditional love for football. This project is a great example of how sports and photography can come together to create a powerful visual narrative.
